Partners Portal for Client Acquisition Program

About the Project

As part of the bank’s client growth strategy, we launched a new Partner Program — allowing partners to onboard new clients and receive rewards. I designed a full-featured personal account for agents on both mobile and web, as well as an internal admin panel for staff to manage the flow.

Business Goals

  • Attract new clients through a referral program

  • Enable non-bank agents (partners, freelancers) to register, invite and track clients

  • Launch full MVP across platforms (mobile + web)

  • Ensure transparency and motivation through reward tracking

Challenges

  • Registration and compliance requirements for external agents

  • 2.5 months MVP deadline

  • Internal validation flow, anti-fraud triggers, support tools

Approach

Mapped out 3 user types: agent, invited client, internal operator

  • Designed agent flow around three key actions:

    1. Register & get approved

    2. Invite clients via referral

    3. Track rewards & statuses

  • Created clear onboarding explaining how rewards work and when agents get paid

  • Built admin dashboard to review agent activity, validate clients, and approve payouts

Key UX Solutions

  • Dashboard with referral stats and progress

  • Status labels for each invited client (e.g. Registered, KYC passed, Account opened)

  • Real-time updates on reward progress

  • Mobile-first experience with full web support

  • Admin interface with powerful filters and action batching

Internal Tools

In parallel, I designed the admin panel for staff to manage agent applications and monitor client referrals:

  • Application review flow

  • Manual approval of clients and payouts

  • Filtering by agent type, status, application type

This internal system became the core operational interface for the entire acquisition program.

Impact

  • MVP launched on time across mobile and web

  • Agent panel used by both individuals and small business partners

  • Internal team adopted the admin interface as a daily tool

Results

  • Significant growth in agent signups

  • Rapid increase in clients onboarded via agents

  • Rewards payout process fully digitized
